TurboTalk 4

TurboTalk 4 is a chatting program developed in the Scratch mod, PenguinMod. It uses the extension, CloudLink—formally shortened to CL, to talk with other users. TurboTalk 4 is the fourth iteration of TurboTalk. It was developed by ZaidenBurns and innovated by ZayFire Studios.

CloudLink

CloudLink (CL), developed by MikeDev, is a Scratch mod extension that allows users to connect to servers and send messages through global and private messages. See the documentation on how it works. There are 2 CL servers that can be used in TurboTalk 4.

History

TurboTalk had many iterations before TurboTalk 4.

TurboTalk was developed back in 2023 and it was shared by Google Drive. It was a start, but it lacked all the cool features today. TurboTalk 2 was a rebrand of TurboTalk. It released new customization features and new chat system. TurboTalk 3 was a huge overhaul of the series. It was created from scratch and it introduced 640x360 window size. TurboTalk 3 Service was also introduced and that would allow it's chat system to be used in other PenguinMod projects. TurboTalk 4 was also a huge overhaul. The chat system was innovated with less lag when too many messages were being displayed. Legacy sounds were also used. An account system was also introduced.

TurboTalk 3

If you don't like creating a Velora account, we encourage you to use TurboTalk 3 which doesn't use an account system. It lacks features from TurboTalk 4, but it's still manageable and it still receives updates.
